About Adrian McGrath

Adrian McGrathI’ve been working now as a consultant in the IT industry for over 23 years, specifically concentrating on  the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) / Enterprise Information Management (EIM) space over the past 12 years.

One of my key strengths lies in blending my technology and business experience to help clients set their vision, objectives and strategy around Information Management. Over the past 10 years, I have successfully helped 17 clients across multiple industry sectors set their Information Management strategy and direction.

As a Principal Solution Architect by trade, I have also led a number of large-scale and successful Information Management projects covering the complete end-to-end lifecycle of an Information Management programme of work. These projects have given me a broad and extensive knowledge of all the major disciplines of Information Management (including document and web content management) and experience of most of the leading Information Management technology vendors (such as Oracle, Open Text, Adobe, Microsoft, and EMC Documentum).

I’ve worked at Unilog -> Logica -> CGI for 13 years where my time was primarily split between working on client projects (both implementation and strategic consulting), pre-sales, thought leadership and proposition development. I now work as an independent consultant within the ECM/EIM industry,

I am passionate about ECM and the overall Information Management space and have started this blog to share my ideas and thoughts.

I can be contacted at adrian_mcgrath@yahoo.com.
