The impact of social media on ECM

I presented at Intellect yesterday on the Impact of Social Media on Enterprise Content Management (ECM).

I’ve been working in the ECM industy now for about 11 years and I think that Social Media, Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) and the related mobile apps marketplace represent some of the biggest catalysts for change that I’ve seen in the ECM industry.

I’ve uploaded my presentation to Slideshare where it can be found and downloaded here.

Other presenters at Intellect yesterday were Thomas Power (chairman, Ecademy), Jonathan Beardsley (Senior Solutions Consultant, Open Text) and Malcolm Beach (Senior Consultant, In-Form Consult).

  1. Very interesting and well-put-together presentation. I wish there was some way to present the added value of social ECM to the kind of people who are looking for ROI kinds of arguments.
